KISS Export Pre-flight

Checks the fields the KISS 1.1 standard requires before you export — so the fab shop's import doesn't bounce.

KISS PRE-FLIGHT - EXCEPTIONS ONLY ------------------------------------------------------ MISSING GRADE ............. 2 members (C305 C306) MISSING SEQUENCE .......... none MISSING LENGTH ............ none ROUTING / REMARK .......... 1 member (B412) ------------------------------------------------------ 3 exceptions - fix before export

Sample output — layout representative, numbers illustrative. Your job's data fills it.

Who it's for
The detailer / fab office.
What's in it
Required-field presence check per the published KISS 1.1 standard · exceptions only — a clean model prints a blank page.
Why it exists
KISS 1.1 is a published spec with a defined required-field set, and a missing field surfaces at the fab shop's import — not in SDS2. Catching gaps before export saves the round-trip.
How it's built
Field set from the published KISS 1.1 standard, checked against verified ModelAll paths.

Install — about a minute, once it ships

  1. Save the template file.
  2. Drop it into your job's Job\reports\Detailing\ folder.
  3. In SDS2, run it from Run Report Writer Report.
Status: in build — not available to download yet. There is no file behind this page today, and a free account will not get you one. Each template is written and run in SDS2 on a real job before its download is enabled here. The weekly brief announces each one the day it ships.

Verify report output against your project documents before fabrication. Templates are original SPI work built on the verified SDS2 ModelAll field catalog — every field path they use is checked against it, never guessed.
